Farewell, Multiply

Hey guys, for the past few days I've been thinking about how to end my blog. Not this one, the one taken down used to be my main blog, just to be clear, my blog was Rqonsama and it will be shutted down apart from the online shop feature this Saturday by the management. They will erase all the blogging and photo gallery feature deteriorating it to online shop only. So I will be moving to my Rant Blog (which is probably empty by now) and this was written on my Wordpress Blog.
Well, now that I can't think of anything and the blog supposedly to be destroyed in matter of days, I think I have to resort to the usual, writing a small story about my blog, so I hope you won't be bored by this post.

I was enticed by a group called FCTI, which stands for FansClub Tokusatsu Indonesia, it's a club dedicated for tokusatsu stuff (masked heroes in Japan) and I start collecting stuff from there. From there also I start looking for friends, since I thought getting know each collectors personally might be a good thing. So I started by pimping out my website with default css searching for the best default CSS until one day I've customized the CSS given to get the look I've desired.
At first it was quite hard to get to know other members since everyone had their own place and we can't just barge in. I started with some people I know, some people I had interaction with, like figure/toys transaction for example. From there I can look at their updates and check who I can get to know as a collector. Feels kinda like a stalker to be honest, haha.
Getting to know more collectors in my life I felt happy, as of now what I've done is simply lurking around people's updates and stuff, getting to know them. Over the time, I realized that more and more people write reviews about their figures. I think about it, these guys are serious and it shows their passion to their collection like no other have. I should try making something like this! That, Ladies and Gentlemen, is probably my turning point from a lurker into a blogger, well, pseudo-blogger I think.
Having a new spirit about blogging my first review is about Miku Live Stage, which of course, not the one in this blog. Well, I can't say it's a review myself, more like a description of the thing itself without anything that can be considered as a review. I don't even know that I have macro button on my camera, haha. This was back at Sept of 2010th, determined to be a good writer (sue me :3) I'm trying to keep writing for my improvement sake, but once I get the hang of it I started to get busier at college and stuff halting my motivation and thus procrastinate the blog.

It has been 2 years and I've changed my review style quite a lot. At Multiply there's a gallery option which makes posting pictures easier. But I think reviewing in a blog form is the thing for me. I like making my own layout and I hope it'll get better from now on, I try to constantly upgrade my standard on each review, so that you won't be bored with my style.
Over the past 2 years, I've managed, 4 blogs? I think... 1 of them is of course this blog, my Multiply blog and the other 2 are community blogs, Figmania and Gundam Generation Indonesia. I have different roles on each blogs, well it does makes me learn new things, but so far my passion is still on figure reviews. But I do rant from time to time though, so expect more rant in the near future.
I don't really know what to write, it's already late at night and my head is currently occupied by new blog materials so I, regretfully, can't take this post that serious, I will despise myself in the future, but please bear with me for now.
All in all, I give my thanks to the Multiply site for taking care of my site for this long and I hope you guys all the best for your future endeavour. You've been a good home to me and my friends, you've tied me with all kinds of people that I have never met before. You've done lots more than you think, and I don't know if a simple thank you will be enough. You give me friends to talk with, a place to write in, a knowledge to learn for, and best of all that you bring happiness to me.
Thank you, and goodbye.
