[Photo Review] Nendoroid 142 Kousaka Kirino

Firstly, I want to apologize for the amount of pictures I've shot today. It's not much I know but with Mid-Exam coming up and a lot of problems here and there including I just tear down my mini studio since I think it's time for me to change the background (BUT, I forgot to bought the new background) I think I'll cover up most of the basics for you guys.

Kirino

Kirino is the main heroine from an anime called Ore no imouto ga konna ni kawaii wake ga nai. Here's a little introduction of Kirino taken off from wikipedia.

Kirino is Kyosuke's 14-year-old younger sister. She is mature for her age with a cold, tsundere-like personality. She is secretly an otaku with an obsession for "little sister"-themed eroge, as well as the children's anime series, Stardust Witch Meruru. She works as a photoshoot model and later becomes a novelist, the funds from which she uses to support her hobby. Despite her interests, she states she does not know why she started liking it and denies having a brother complex, believing the 2D and 3D worlds should be kept separate.

The main reason for me to bought the nendoroid is the faceplates, they're so cute, all three of them. The default smiling face give a nice serene atmosphere as if you can feel kindness flowing out of them. The tsundere face is obviously a new standard for tsundere nendoroids, moreover I can make any nendoroid tsundere now! Last but not least is the drooling faceplate, enough said that this is probably one of the best face GSC ever released up until now.

Packaging
It is neatly packed inside a cool box, the box are made similar to the anime art for the background and the blisters inside are just TIGHT! Everything packed to the core, hats off for GSC handling his goods better than ever.

Paint and Details
Awesomely colored, the details are also beautifully sculpted. The shading on Kirino's hair, the details of her face, her cellphone is amazingly detailed, the only downside of this category is how the DVD and Blu-Ray boxes aren't smooth enough and leave few mold traces on the edges.

Articulations
It's pretty cool, a lot of extra hands as you can see from the pictures below, I'll give it a good score just for the variety of the hands.

Playability
YES, I just love playing with this midget, not only the faceplates are great, but the extra hand gestures are also unbelievably good for reenacting a lot of scenes. But seriously, the faceplates are great~

Price
Given off the price I got her, it's a little bit higher than the ready stock price, but it's well worth the money, I love her, Sanae is still my favorite nendoroid up to date, but this easily comes in third (assuming I have Nao Staccato *Sandyyyy!!*)
