Figmania 1st Outdoor (Not-so-figma) Photosession

Yeah I know, I didn't brought or shot many figmas, it's Mike's and Ray's camera who shots the most. I even left my figmas on my friend's car, haha, I'm such a klutz, seriously. It's pretty fun but considering the number of people, we lost the number against the ALAYS, who roams around the site. Should I carry a shotgun with me next time and shot their brains out of their arse then I'll be damned relieved.

(+) The Positives

- The sun, the best source of light you can find
- A lot of objects you can use
- SUN
- Different scenery for background, though taking in the open will attract more attention that I've thought

(-) The Negatives

- Should be done on a LARGE or probably MASSIVE group of people so you'll be more "confident" than you already are.
- It's EFFING hot. I hate yous Jakarta.
- Ada MONYET yang bilang "masa kecil kurang bahagia" (untungnya bukan gua yang denger), lain kali gua bawa pisang gua jejelin ke bokongnya. ato bikin pisa tower keluar dari kerongkongannya.

[Photo Review] Nendoroid 142 Kousaka Kirino

Firstly, I want to apologize for the amount of pictures I've shot today. It's not much I know but with Mid-Exam coming up and a lot of problems here and there including I just tear down my mini studio since I think it's time for me to change the background (BUT, I forgot to bought the new background) I think I'll cover up most of the basics for you guys.

Kirino

Kirino is the main heroine from an anime called Ore no imouto ga konna ni kawaii wake ga nai. Here's a little introduction of Kirino taken off from wikipedia.

Kirino is Kyosuke's 14-year-old younger sister. She is mature for her age with a cold, tsundere-like personality. She is secretly an otaku with an obsession for "little sister"-themed eroge, as well as the children's anime series, Stardust Witch Meruru. She works as a photoshoot model and later becomes a novelist, the funds from which she uses to support her hobby. Despite her interests, she states she does not know why she started liking it and denies having a brother complex, believing the 2D and 3D worlds should be kept separate.

The main reason for me to bought the nendoroid is the faceplates, they're so cute, all three of them. The default smiling face give a nice serene atmosphere as if you can feel kindness flowing out of them. The tsundere face is obviously a new standard for tsundere nendoroids, moreover I can make any nendoroid tsundere now! Last but not least is the drooling faceplate, enough said that this is probably one of the best face GSC ever released up until now.

Packaging
It is neatly packed inside a cool box, the box are made similar to the anime art for the background and the blisters inside are just TIGHT! Everything packed to the core, hats off for GSC handling his goods better than ever.

Paint and Details
Awesomely colored, the details are also beautifully sculpted. The shading on Kirino's hair, the details of her face, her cellphone is amazingly detailed, the only downside of this category is how the DVD and Blu-Ray boxes aren't smooth enough and leave few mold traces on the edges.

Articulations
It's pretty cool, a lot of extra hands as you can see from the pictures below, I'll give it a good score just for the variety of the hands.

Playability
YES, I just love playing with this midget, not only the faceplates are great, but the extra hand gestures are also unbelievably good for reenacting a lot of scenes. But seriously, the faceplates are great~

Price
Given off the price I got her, it's a little bit higher than the ready stock price, but it's well worth the money, I love her, Sanae is still my favorite nendoroid up to date, but this easily comes in third (assuming I have Nao Staccato *Sandyyyy!!*)

Gundam Indonesia Gathering 3 April 2011

Event ini kemaren diadakan di Citraland, tepatnya di Food Library Citraland. Lucunya, gua sama belom gabung sama sekali ke grup ini ahahah, diawali dengan undangan dari Michael, salah seorang anak figma yang juga demen sama model plastik ini. Tadinya pengen bawa 00 Raiser tapi karena banyak kendala akhirnya yang jadi baru 00 doang dan raisernya masih nempel di runner sampe sekarang haha ^^; makanya album kali ini diawali dengan WIP 00 dan update koleksi 00 yang udah kerakit.

Acara dimulai jam 3, namun gua dan om Ray berangkat aga sorean karena Om Ray ada acara keluarga dulu sampe jam 2-an. Sampe di CL kira2 jam setengah 4 kalo ga salah, trus sebelum gath niatnya cuma liat2 di HoJap sama Animachi (untung ga ke Colloseo juga, bisa mati liat TCG). Eh ada SD 00 raiser, lengkaplah hari itu gua bawa gunpla ke gath gunpla. Sampe sana ketemu Michael dan orang2 baru di hidup gua (eaaaa~), maaf buat yang ga diinget, sepertinya saya punya Short Attention Span Disorder XD. Intinya, selain yang udah dikenal, gua cuma inget Adit, Marcel ama Nando. Maaf, pertemuan berikut saya coba mengingat kalian semua :3.

Ini pertama kalinya gua dateng ke gath gunpla, semua terasa asing. Well, of course, kerjaan anak figma kan kalo gath selain cuma main2 sama figma, mempermalukan figma, terutama sebuah SHF yang bertema Ultimate dipakai sama Rider tahun 2000 itu loh, yang warna item ada form Rising Ultimate lanjutannya di seri Decade dan dipake sama Onodera.

All in all, gua sangat puas dengan gath kemaren walaupun ga sempet foto2 banyak, lebih seneng ngeliatin gimana kalo anak gunpla lagi gathering :D. Setelah ngobrol2 gua juga tau kalo gathering ini diadakan sebulan sekali, dan saya minta maaf sama Ludov soalnya ga sempet ngajak gathering *maaf dov* ikut yuk gathering berikut~ buat yang sama2 gila gunpla, gimana kalo kita dateng bareng2 next gath?
